1961, the Mulsow family left the company, and so from that time onwards the Hoppmann family alone has been controlling the destiny of the firm.
1969, WISKA moved out of the cramped production facilities in Hamburg Eimsbüttel and into the new factory in Kaltenkirchen, 30 km north of Hamburg.
1989, WISKA took over Ostermann, thus broadening the range to include adjustable spot lamps and signalling.
1994, Tanja Hoppmann of the 3rd generation joined the company.
1996, WISKA was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 (quality management system) and DIN EN ISO 14001 (environment management system).
1998, Ronald Hoppmann joined the company, too.
2000, WISKA founded a branch office in the United Kingdom. WISKA UK Ltd. - located in Cornwall - works very successfully on the UK market for Cable Accessory Systems as well as Maritime installation material.
In the same year, a new generation takes charge, as Peter and Karin Hoppmann hand over management responsibility to their children, Tanja and Ronald Hoppmann.
2002, WISKA presented the brandnew Digital Video surveillance system WISKA CCTV which has been developed to enter the market for maritime security. For the commercialisation of the new business segment, WISKA founded the WISKA CCTV GmbH as a wholly owned subsidiary.
2004 WISKA adapts the company organisation to future requirements of the business. The business unit ‘Cable Accessory Systems’ works on cable glands, junction boxes and fixing material while the unit ‘Maritime Lighting & Electrical Equipment’ attends to the international ship-building industry.
