There are three different types of cable entries which our various models of the COMBI® junction boxes are equipped with.

Special flexibility is what you get with our COMBI® junction boxes that are characterised by their combined membrane and threaded entries: This combination allows for an extremely quick installation using the membrane, or using a cable gland for higher protection class.

  • Combined threaded and membrane entries for installation without tools or locknuts
  • Using the membrane for a really quick installation gets you IP66
  • For an even higher protection class of IP67 use the thread by entering a cable gland
  • Practical: If you use a cable gland the membrane breaks away automatically

For a fast and easy installation - threadless

The threadless COMBI® junction boxes convince with their fast installation through the integrated membrane. For optional cable retention we offer our strain relief ring which is quick and easy to use, helping to secure your cables safely. Just push it around the cable inside the box and it prevents the cable from being pulled out. A simple solution for additional strain relief.

The solution for almost every cable diameter - the knockout entry

This type of cable entry offers the user many options for the installation of different cable diameters. For IP67 protection, different knockouts can be used for different cable gland sizes. To achieve IP66 protection, the QUIXX membrane grommets supplied as standard in the box can be used for quick installation.

Available in the following sizes: COMBI® 1010 and 1610
